La Casona del Boticario is a charming hotel dedicated to wine tourism, located in the heart of San Vicente de la Sonsierra, one of La Rioja’s premier wine centers and one of the most beautiful villages in the region. The hotel is housed in a majestic 18th-century stone building, with a main street facade and views of the vineyards and the Sierra de Cantabria from the rear.

For centuries, the building served as the pharmacy of San Vicente and the residence of the town’s apothecaries. In 2013, we, the heirs, undertook a complete restoration to create a welcoming space enjoyable at any time of day. We designed spacious, bright, and comfortable areas decorated with original furniture, allowing guests to relax, read, or enjoy the scenery as if they were visiting friends. Additionally, we provide personalized recommendations and activities so that guests can explore our region and experience its rich culture and cuisine.
